When using watercolors, an ink overlay can add more depth and structure to your painting. Some watercolors, no matter how much effort and time you put into them, just do not seem finished. A simple touch of ink can create more life to your art. I like to use a fine point sharpie because it works well on watercolor paper and also because it doesn’t leave bulky markings.
